With our seed mixture especially developed for these hardworking insects, we want to create a habitat for the bees that provides them with food, shelter and sufficient pollen for their pollination work, which is so essential for our environment.

Premium seeds from OwnGrownOur Bee Meadow consists of many different flower varieties, directly adapted to the needs of insects. These include marigold, cornflower, sage, tickseed, nasturtium, red poppy, mallow, small burnet, cosmos, African daisy and more. We recommend sowing from April to June. If you sow later, the flowers may not have enough time for growth and flowering before the cold months start again. | Easy sowing for a bee-friendly garden1-2g of seeds per square metre are sufficient! The bee meadow grows best in a sunny location with deep, loose and weed-free soil. Season starts between April and June. Sow the seed at a large distance from each other. Put the seeds lightly into the soil, carefully press on the soil and water until it is soaked. Germination takes place at 54 to 65 °F soil temperature in about 14 days. If seeded at large distance, it is also possible to grow them in tubs on balconies or terraces. | Thank you for the flowers!Blossom is possible at any time between June and October. Some bees will even want to spend the winter in the hollow plant stems – so even the older, dried plants can be left standing! It takes a few weeks until the first flowers are in full bloom. But it's worth the wait! The flower variety of the bee meadow changes according to the season. |
